Michael X Sommers is best known for his roles as BUG in Sense8 (NETFLIX), Johnny in Sorry To Bother You, and coming this Christmas, Skroce in THE MATRIX 4: Resurrections!

A 25 year veteran of the Screen Actor's Guild who has appeared in hundreds of films, games, television series, commercials and every conceivable media,
Sommers graduated with a B.A.in theater from the University of Vermont in 1989.
His favorite stage credit was replacing Jeremy Irons in the title role of "Chopin and George Sand..." by New York's Ensemble for the Romantic Century, at Castello di Amarosa in Calistoga, California.

Sommers one-man play HICK in the HOOD premiered to a sold out standing ovation at The Marsh in San Francisco, before continuing on to Pt. Reyes Station, Berkeley, and The Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier, Vermont.

HEART in the HOOD won awards at The Rogue (Fresno) and San Francisco Fringe Festivals before moving on to tours of Vermont, Bolinas, Berkeley, Chicago and Rome, Italy!

A performer, a harmonica and a stool...

"I celebrate myself and sing myself, my body, voice, mind... and your imagination!"
We don't need much to bring us together in art, music and theater, do we?
I like it live, in communities small and large, (but I'm a sucker for small) I like small affordable spaces in places like Bolinas, Pt Reyes Station, Middlebury, Vermont; neighborhoods in Chicago, even Rome!

And I long to tell my stories straight to your ears and eyes and I hope that you will tell me yours.
Do we really need a microphone, a soundtrack, set and lights? Those things are nice, I like them, too, but not if they get between me and you.
